Registrations received prior to 6pm at the Library or online on Monday, June 24th will receive a T-Shirt. All other forms received after this time will not be eligible for a shirt. This includes mailed entries.

Welcome to the Mellen Bellringer Run 2019. We look forward to celebrating the Fourth of July with you! The Bellringer Run is an annual fundraising event to benefit the Friends of the Mellen Library.

Race:

Thursday, July 4, 2019

2 mile and 5 mile race both beginning at 8:30 am in downtown Mellen.

Early Bird Pickup:

Wednesday, July 3rd from 4 to 6 pm in the Library, 106 Iron Street, Mellen - one block east of City Hall. 

Awards:

Immediately following the finish of both races in the front of the Library.

A Sara Balbin sculpture on local granite will be awarded to first female and male finishers in both races. Ribbons to 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers, male and female in all classes in both races. 

Race Classes: 

5 Mile: Under 14/ 15-19/ 20s/ 30s/ 40s/50s/60s/70s/80s

2 Mile: 2 year divisions up to age 19/ 20s/30s/40s/50s/60s/70s/80s

 

Onsite Registration:

Thursday, July 4th onsite registration begins at 7am in the Legion Memorial Library located at 106 Iron Street in downtown Mellen, one block east of City Hall. 

Online Registration: 

To register online go to Tortoise and Hare Race Management, LLC at www.tandhtiming.com and click on Upcoming Events. Find our race on the calendar to register. 

Or stop in the Library to pick up a paper form or to register on our computers. Assistance is available.
